Hip hop music, also called hip-hop or rap music, is a music genre developed in the United States by inner-city African Americans in the 1970s. If you sit down and think about things that are famous in India, rap music would be the last thing you would think about. But over the past 10 years surprisingly, some talented rappers have been quietly winning the hearts of the youth and they're moving at a rapid pace. Presently the youth may be desperately waiting for the next Eminem single to release but is important that we look back home and reaffirm our appreciation for our Desi Rap Artists like Honey Singh, Baadshah , Raftaar, Bohemia, Divine etc, for the hip hop community in the country is larger than ever, producing quality music by the second.

We have one such young artist of age 19 coming up who hails from MiddleEast , NOVA. He is an English & a Hindi Rapper. Highly Influenced by Hip-Hop music he enjoys playing with words more than anything else. He believes that Hip-Hop is the best thing that has happened to him. He believes the scene is steadily growing; unlike previously, there are now rappers in small pockets across the city. NOVA started rapping at the age of 16 after watching the movie 8 mile and straight outta Compton . Inspired by the rawness and the sheer power of the freedom of expression, he began to pen down his own thoughts in the form of rhymes. NOVA has dabbled into Hip-Hop through Eminem; also the likes of Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, Logic and feels he is still discovering them.

NOVA has been writing music for a while and is now planning to release his own songs that may lead up to a new full-length album one-day being in the process of confirmation under the number one music label in country,T series . His Manager is also in talks with Record Labels in UK & US. Nova has participated in cypher, rap battles also has represented Mumbai in the same.  He has already recorded his 2 original English rap songs mixed and mastered by our very own Bollywood fame , Tanay Gajjar. Currently, he is recording an original fusion of English & Hindi Rap as an independent artist to be launched soon. “Having my partial roots in India is not only the reason I love and respect the culture and tradition of India, but also because I feel its justified to follow for a persons well being emotionally and mentally, where I fit in comfortably, which makes me proud of many things in the nation” says Nova, continuing “The "Maa Ki Dua, song that I am coming out with is on the subject of MOTHERS, which is an emphasis on the love and hardships a mother goes for her child, reaffirming on respect for them! Mothers across the globe,irrespective of their caste,race,background,color etc”

Meanwhile he has his rendition on Heathens song (Original song by Twenty One Pilots) out on his official YouTube channel NOVA, Digitally Powered by MCN DIGITAL. This song has been composed by Nova with a Desi fusion & has received tremendous response on YouTube and other music online platforms, having the song loved in top countries like India, Thailand, Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Vietnam, Turkey, Columbia, Brazil, Egypt, Korea, Peru & astonishingly trending at 5 in Russia, Ukraine, Thailand. He says "In the beginning it was more of a way to stand out and gain attention but things got serious when I started using rap as a tool to vent". Nothing that he talks about his life with music seems like a counterpoint. The clarity in his approach is inspiring. He expresses a desire to connect with his music and wants to build a good body of work. You should get to know him before he blows up.

Apart from being an artist he is also a fitness freak and has built his life around practicing bodybuilding,wrestling,MMA winning championships at many regional levels. And would love to give a shot for UFC and Mens physique (Olympia) as well, which is huge renowned platform for athletes. We wish him all the best!

He already has a great fan following with more of female segment across the globe. When asked on the same, he shies and humbly says “I appreciate the love of all my well wishers and followers and it motivates me to create better music each and every time.”
